Project 2. Guided Talent Solutions

Guided Talent Solutions was a six-week internship project completed with a classmate for a tech recruitment company. The initial brief was to modernise their outdated website and create a stronger digital presence. Early in the process, we saw an opportunity to develop the brand beyond the website. We refreshed the visual identity by refining the logo, introducing a new colour palette and typography, and creating a more contemporary tone of voice. Together, these elements formed a more cohesive and memorable brand experience.

Process /

As with every project, we began with research. We conducted interviews with members of their target audience, analysed competitors and worked closely with the client to understand their goals and expectations. Together, we explored different tonal directions and involved the client throughout the six weeks to ensure the final result felt both modern and familiar, something that was especially important to them.

While my classmate took on a slightly larger role in the UI design, I focused more on the visual identity, graphic elements and overall project strategy. However, all major decisions were made collaboratively, and we worked side by side throughout the entire process. We were responsible for everything from copywriting, branding and interface design to implementing the website in Lovable and adapting it for mobile devices.

Key Learnings /

One of the biggest challenges was learning an entirely new tool while working under a tight deadline. It also required us to develop an efficient workflow from the start, allowing enough time for testing and refinements towards the end of the project. Finding the balance between introducing something modern while preserving a sense of familiarity was another rewarding challenge.

What I am most proud of is that we delivered a finished product that the client could immediately start using and building upon. Seeing something we created provide real value to a company was incredibly rewarding. The project also taught me a lot about how I like to work as a designer, how to balance a client's wishes with taking a guiding role, and how powerful AI tools can be in expanding what is possible within the design process.

Please note: The company has since rebranded under a new name, and the logo presented in this project is no longer in use. However, the broader visual identity remains in use today.

Logo Iteration /

Logo exploration played a key role in the redesign process. The goal was to create a more contemporary and tech-oriented identity while maintaining elements that felt familiar and recognisable to the company.

1. Original Logotype

The original logotype used by Guided Talent Solutions prior to the redesign. While it carried strong brand recognition, it felt less aligned with the company's desired tech-oriented direction.

2. First Iteration

2. First Iteration

We explored a more tech-inspired direction to modernise the brand and better align it with the company's vision. The goal was to create a visual identity that felt more digital, contemporary, and relevant to today's market.

3. Final Logotype

3. Final Logotype

The final logotype combined the new, modern direction with the original star symbol, creating a balance between renewal and familiarity.

Mobile Version /

The website was designed and developed using Lovable, with responsive desktop and mobile layouts created to provide a seamless and consistent user experience.

Brand Evolution /

The existing website provided a foundation for the redesign, but no longer fully reflected the company's evolving identity and digital needs. The new experience introduced a clearer visual hierarchy, a more cohesive brand expression and a responsive structure across desktop and mobile.
